Angelina Jolie Speaks On Her Directorial Debut In Marie Claire!!!
Angelina Jolie is covering the January issue of Marie Claire, which coincides with the release of her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey. In the issue she speaks on writing for the film, the actual filming, moving away from acting and more.

On writing ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’:
“It began as a private exercise, an excuse to get out some of my frustrations [with] the international community and justice issues.
On filming ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’:
“Some of the very darkest sections of the film were conceived in Shiloh’s art class; I was in the back waiting for the kids to finish.”
On moving away from acting:
“…I woke up one day realizing, God, I’m an actor. I don;t think I intended to be an actor. I think my mother wanted it for me. I loved telling stories, and I enjoyed the profession, but is it too late to be something else?”
On having more kids:
“Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don’t know. I could end up pregnant.”
