Amber Rose’s Uptown Glamorous Shoot For ‘Lifestyle Mirror’
Amber Rose recently paid a visit to one of the the most ritziest neighborhoods in Manhattan, the Upper East Side, for a very glamorous photo shoot and interview with Lifestyle Mirror.
In the interview the future Mrs. Wiz Khalifa spoke on her connection with her Twitter followers, dishes on what her short cut means to her and spoke on criticism.
Here are a few excerpts from the interview and photos from the shoot by photographer Wayne Maser. The shots for the shoot were taken at the John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman and Bistro Chat Noir.
On hooking up with Wiz Khalifa:
“I DMed Wiz on Twitter after an interview where he said I was the ultimate girl, because I wanted to send him some shades. We became friends right away, and that’s how it all began!”
On connecting with her fans on Twitter:
“I get to really connect with my fans. They get to see who I really am.”
On her iconic haircut:
“I cut my hair about 9 years ago. It’s really empowering because I hide behind nothing. This is me.”
On criticism about how she lives and dresses:
“If I want to wear a short skirt I can, and I expect to not be disrespected because I want to feel and dress sexy and not be called a whore. Every woman has the right to dress as she pleases and not be judged by her wardrobe choices, and I support all women doing their thing, whether in high heels and a mini skirt or sweats and sneakers.”
