Veteran DJ Says Rihanna Is Better Than The Beatles

Veteran DJ Tony Blackburn has opened up a can of worms, that I’m pretty sure will stir up much debate. When it was suggested that the 1960s era of music was the golden age, he replied by saying that he thought that the artist today were better than the one’s from that era.

He stated:

“The Beatles and the Stones just stood there with guitars and sang. These days, people like Rihanna can sing and dance and do everything.”

Now I love Rihanna, and think that she is extremely talented and entertaining, but the music that the Beatles and Stones made was classic. What do you think? Rihanna better than the Beatles?
