5 Ways to Make Your Eyes Look Bigger and Brighter

Eyes are one of the first features someone notices on you, so you will want to make them look big and bright. Luckily, there are several ways you can make your eyes look bigger with makeup.

And, if you make the extra effort to make up your eyes in the morning, everyone will notice your eyes from miles away. Here are five ways to make your eyes look big and bright.

1. Don’t Wear Too Much Black Eyeliner

Too much eyeliner can make your eyes disappear, especially if you have very small eyes to begin with. If you still want to wear eyeliner, only apply a very thin line to your lower lash lines.

2. Use White Eyeliner

White eyeliner is truly amazing; it will make your eyes big and bright. White eyeliner is especially great to use if you didn’t get much sleep the night before. Carefully line your waterline with some white eyeliner, and your eyes will look amazing.

3. Wear the Right Eye shadow Color

A great way to make your eyes stand out is to wear an eye shadow color that is the opposite shade of your eye color. For example, if you have blue eyes, gold, brown and bronze eye shadow will look good on you.

4. Don’t Go Without Mascara

If you don’t wear mascara, your eyes can almost disappear. After you apply your eye shadow and eyeliner, put two coats of black mascara to your eyelashes. If you have light skin and hair, brown mascara may look more flattering on you.

5. Keep Your Eyebrows Well Groomed

Don’t underestimate the importance of keeping your eyebrows well groomed. If your eyebrows are too thin or too bushy, no one will notice your eyes. Go to a professional to have your eyebrows professionally waxed or threaded. If your eyebrows are over plucked, fill them in with an eyebrow pencil or powder.
